Changes
Although Eric doesn't let me around the keyboard much these days, a lot of changes have taken place since I last wrote. We've moved to a new house, Katie has grown rather large lately, and Eric keeps listing to her stomach, and now there is a second dachshund in the house! This new dachshund is named Scarlet. She has long red fur, and is very pretty, but she is also a bit pushy and likes to chew on everything. And although I would happily join her when she breaks into the garbage, it does seem to annoy Eric a little bit. Still, who am I to argue with the allure of garbage? Who knows, now that we have more space, maybe Eric will let me around the keyboard more often (but I doubt it). posted by Bismarck at 10:33 PM

I'm feeling much better. My tooth doesn't hurt any more, and Eric tells me that my stitches will be removed this weekend. My sad little bald spot is starting to grow fur as well.
This weekend I wet with Rosalie, Katie and Eric to an outdoor arts and crafts show. I'm not sure what the whole point was, but there were a lot of good things for me to sniff, and plenty of people to pet me. Sometimes I don't know how I keep up with all of my obligations. posted by Bismarck at 3:53 PM

My ordeal continues...
And when I get home, they feed me soggy kibble. I was at least hoping for some good food. Is there no end to my suffering? posted by Bismarck at 9:00 AM

Grrrrrr....
I thought that Katie and Eric were going to take me somewhere fun, but instead, they took me to the vet. Even worse, I went to sleep there, and when I woke up I was missing a tooth and had some stitches where a harmless lump used to be. Grrrrr... posted by Bismarck at 10:50 AM

Allergies...
Today I sniffed a lot of things, including a lot of that powder that comes out of plants. Afterward, I had sniffles and some trouble breathing. Eric gave me a piece of cheese with a strange lump in it. A short while later it was a lot easier to breath, but I got sleepy. posted by Bismarck at 8:43 PM

I want eggs...
My people brought home some colorful eggs and treats to put inside them. I love this game(they hide them, I find them with my nose, and then eat the treat), although we don't do it very often . But then they never hid the eggs or gave me my treats. What's going on? posted by Bismarck at 8:00 AM

It's about time!
Eric has been hogging the website, but hasn't been updating my web page. He still had "news" from 2002 on the page. I don't even want to imagine how long that is in dog years. Now, I like Eric, he feeds me and gives me belly rubs, but he really wasn't very good on updating my web page. So I'm taking matters into my own paws. posted by Bismarck at 5:35 PM
